Reinstatements: open

Reinstatement exists as a pathway to allow individuals who are recent prior employees of the department to resume their employment at a level beyond probation. 

Requirements

  • Applicants are required to be absent from the Fire Department for a period of at least 15 days;
  • Applicants are required to have successfully passed probation;
  • Applicants are required to be of acceptable physical and mental health;
  • Applicants are required to possess a valid driver's license within the State of San Andreas;
  • Applicants are required to have no criminal history beyond traffic infractions;
  • Applicants must not have been terminated from the agency. ((ABAS terminations are exempt));
  • Applicants must be eligible for licensure as an EMT according to current standards set by the Los Santos County EMS Agency;
  • Applicants must be eligible to be reinstated at a rank beyond probation.
  • ((Maintain realistic reasoning and assets for someone applying to a Fire Department at the requested rank.))
  • ((Must have been a non-probationary member of the faction within the last 18 months.))

We ask that individuals who do not meet the above requirements apply through regular recruitment.

All reinstatements are ultimately at the discretion of the command staff. Individuals are not guaranteed reinstatement based on eligibility alone.


Reinstatement Process

  1. Fill out the application in it's entirety
    1. You can skip the background stage if your applying on the same character.
    2. If this is a new character, list your previous one and rank.
  2. You will be notified within 48 hours if your application has been accepted or denied.
    1. If your application is taking longer than the 48 hour period, contact a Battalion Chief or higher in the LSFD Discord.
