TO REPORT AN EMERGENCY CALL 9-1-1

WELCOME TO THE

LOS SANTOS FIRE DEPARTMENT

Introduction

The LS Fire Foundation and the University of San Andreas have come together to offer multiple scholarships for students who wish to obtain a higher education. It is the Foundation's mission to foster the firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and administrators of the future. It is our hope, that we will empower students to apply what they learn in the classroom, to better our local communities one person at a time.

We believe that all deserve the same opportunity to receive quality education, regardless of their income status. Money should never be an obstacle, so, along with the University of San Andreas, we aim to provide an alternative based on merit, skills, and volunteer efforts.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be a high school senior or older to apply for a scholarship and have the intention of attending university by the following quarter.
  • Scholarship recipients should maintain at least a 3.0GPA in their chosen major.
  • Students should have a strong drive to not only learn and excel in the classroom, but also display willingness to help others through community service.
  • Applicants should have a clean disciplinary record from their current or last educational institution. All scholarship recipients must maintain a clean record throughout the duration of the scholarships length. Disciplinary records are heavily discouraged, and any offense beyond a written warning will result in disqualification from the scholarship program.
  • If the recipient intends to change their major at any time, they must inform the LS Fire Foundation and the University of San Andreas for approval.
  • Most scholarships, unless otherwise indicated, cover for one year, but may be renewed after a review of the students' disciplinary record, GPA, and overall character.
