Hello, happy new year - the recruitment drive will be open for a minimum of 7 days but it's quite likely we stretch it to 10 days.

Firstly, is there an IRL minimum age requirement to join the faction?

Secondly, is the training done in-game at the 'academy' or is it done out of the game (i.e. self-taught via reading policies and procedures)?

((IRL age requirement is merely that which the server requires for people to play in it.

In regards to training, it is 50/50. You will be run through the ingame mechanics and some knowledge at the Academy and the rest you can read on the manuals.))

If possible, would you be able to provide a rough estimate on how long an academy session is? I'm trying to get a gauge of this as I sometimes have a schedule that I don't know of until the last minute. ))

(( Depending on the size of the academy it ranges from 2-3 hours due to the amount that needs to be covered including roleplayed exercises. However there is some leniency with for example attending 1.5 out of the 2 hours and then needing to go, the unfinished material can be handled 1 on 1 by an instructor. ))

A probationary period with a field training program is followed after passing the academy yes.
There are no written exams of any kind.
