Hello, happy new year - the recruitment drive will be open for a minimum of 7 days but it's quite likely we stretch it to 10 days.Kevin Baye wrote: ↑07 Jan 2022, 16:12((Heya folks, happy New Year. Is this current drive open for the usual 7 days or will it stretch a little longer?))

Re: LSFD - Questions & Answers
Hello, I hope you are well.
Firstly, is there an IRL minimum age requirement to join the faction?
Secondly, is the training done in-game at the 'academy' or is it done out of the game (i.e. self-taught via reading policies and procedures)?

In regards to training, it is 50/50. You will be run through the ingame mechanics and some knowledge at the Academy and the rest you can read on the manuals.))

(( Thank you.
If possible, would you be able to provide a rough estimate on how long an academy session is? I'm trying to get a gauge of this as I sometimes have a schedule that I don't know of until the last minute. ))

(( Depending on the size of the academy it ranges from 2-3 hours due to the amount that needs to be covered including roleplayed exercises. However there is some leniency with for example attending 1.5 out of the 2 hours and then needing to go, the unfinished material can be handled 1 on 1 by an instructor. ))Jonathan Richards wrote: ↑07 Jan 2022, 21:37(( Thank you.

Understood. After successful completion of the academy, is there a written examination followed by a probationary ride-along program?Jasper Hewson wrote: ↑07 Jan 2022, 21:58(( Depending on the size of the academy it ranges from 2-3 hours due to the amount that needs to be covered including roleplayed exercises.
