STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0306; 17:11; Caller reported a lot of smoke at Del Perro beach, near the main parking lot. Lifeguard units responded to the location and found one of their watch towers involved in a heavy fire. Multiple units were ordered to respond, including multiple Engines. Nobody was inside the tower and no injuries were reported. Firefighters quickly battled the heavy fire in very warm weather and a knockdown was confirmed at 17:41. The fire luckily didn't spread. The cause is unknown and the fire will be investigated by the SFM and the LSFD. The situation was concluded at 17:55.; LG21, LG31, BC1, E1, RE3, E7, RA74, BP7, PR2; Magellan Avenue, Del Perro Beach; Jennifer Schneider, Emilia Jenkins.

STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0107; 23:55; Caller reported a burning trailer at the Richards Majestic Estate. Units from Station Two, Six and Seven responded to the scene and found a trailer involved in heavy fire. Rescue Engine 3 was assigned to the structure fire and began a defensive attack. Thankfully the fire didn't spread to the nearby large commercial structure and Firefighters were able to keep it contained. The situation was concluded at 0:35; E6, E7, BP7, RE3, PR1, PIO; Richards Magestic, Del Perro Freeway; Martin Allen, Emilia Jenkins.

VEHICLE FIRE; INC#0207; Approx 19:20; PIO unit returning from a call reported a vehicle on fire with the driver being trapped inside the vehicle in Little Seoul. Engine 7 and Rescue 71 were dispatched to the scene immediately. Upon arrival, units quickly extricated the driver and provided first aid. The patient became violent during the treatment and assaulted the responding crew. LSPD was called in to assist. The patient was transported to a local hospital later. The incident was concluded around 19:58.; E7, RA871, PIO, PR4; Vespucci Boulevard, Little Seoul; Jennifer Schneider, Emilia Jenkins.

STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0307; 19:48; The department received a 911 call in regards to heavy smoke on July 20th, 2022 in the evening hours. Multiple units quickly responded to the location, including Engines and Truck 7 from El Burro. Upon arrival, units searched the location and discovered one large commercial building involved in a heavy fire. Engine units started with a defensive attack and Public Works were requested to cease electrical activity in the area. Truck 7 crew was asked to check the structure and proceed with ventilation if needed. No ventilation was needed and the incident command reassigned Truck 7 to a primary attack shortly after. Port Authority assisted with the situation by deploying HAZMAT-certified personnel. Knockdown was declared at 21:21. Nobody was injured during the incident and nobody was found during the primary search inside the building. The situation ended at 19:47.; BC1, E7, RE3, E1, T7, PR4, PR1, PIO; Chupacabra Street, Elysian Island; Jennifer Schneider, Emilia Jenkins.

BRUSH FIRE; INC#0407; 15:53; Caller reported grass on fire near Grapeseed in the afternoon hours. Engine 4 from Sandy Shores responded to the scene and discovered a field being involved in a fire. The fire was quickly spreading because of the weather conditions. Other units were called in to assist. Engine crews discovered hot spots in the field during an overhaul and swiftly dealt with them after the main fire was dealt with. Nobody was injured during the incident. The knockdown was declared at 16:33 and the incident was concluded at 16:45.; E4, BP7, RA31, PR4, PIO, E1; Seaview Road, Grapeseed; Jennifer Schneider, Emilia Jenkins.
