LOS SANTOS FIRE DEPARTMENT SCENE REPORTS
WHAT ARE LSFD SCENE REPORTS? - LSFD Scene Reports will bring you basic information from interesting calls or situations that happened throughout the day. The difference between the regular articles we provide in the Press Release section is that the LSFD Scene Reports will contain basic information only, including the situation, location, units responding, knockdown time (fires only), type of the situation, incident command, and one picture showcasing what happened (in certain situations only). New situations will be posted as a reply in this section. The section is regularly updated with new content.

The typical report will look like this: What happened, incident number, time and date (optional), basic description, units responding, location, Public Relations member's name

STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0104; 15:02; Caller reported an apartment on fire. Firefighters discovered a heavy fire escaping the first apartment on the second floor. The blaze was quickly extinguished by multiple crews. One victim was transported to the hospital with injuries related to the fire. Knockdown was called in at 15:58 by the Incident Command. MISSING & INJURED PERSON; INC#0204; 15:53; The fire department received a 911 call about a missing and injured person at Mount Gordo. The caller's phone ran out of battery shortly after so units had to start with a search and rescue operation, the exact location was unknown. SAPR units assisted with the search, FIRE 3 helicopter was deployed with Sheriff's paramedics on board. The person was located around 16:10 with injuries related to a fall, entrapped. Around 17:40, the patient was transported to a city hospital via the FIRE 3 helicopter. The operation concluded at 17:50; E7, RA71, FIRE3, USAR3, PR2; Union Road, Mount Gordo; Jennifer Schneider.

BEHAVIORAL EMERGENCY/JUMPER; INC#0304; 20:50; Caller reported one male standing on the edge of a high-rise building with suicidal intentions. Several units were dispatched, including Truck 7 with an extended ladder. LSSD, SAPR, and LSPD assisted with the situation, LSPD deploying their negotiators. Firefighters have set up the rescue air cushion on the street below. Firefighters and law enforcement officers worked together to safely bring the adult male down to the ground. Rescue crews provided medical assistance once the patient was safely escorted to the ground and transported to a local hospital. TRAFFIC COLLISION; INC#0404; Approx. 18:40; The traffic collision happened around 18:40 during another situation, just across the street from the first scene. Units quickly pulled off from the first scene, providing first aid immediately with present LSPD officers to the injured parties. Additional units arrived at the scene shortly after. Two people were injured in total, one taken to a local city hospital, and one refused transport. One vehicle was towed by the LSPD. STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0504; 15:33; A caller reported a structure fire under the bridge in La Mesa, near the bus depot. The police department confirmed the fire shortly after. Pager was sent out with Engine 3 and Brush Patrol 7 responding a few minutes later. Units discovered a gas tank involved in heavy fire along with wood, containers, and utility equipment. Brush Patrol 7 crew located an electrical box close to the fire itself and tried to disconnect it. The knockdown was confirmed at 16:44, nobody was injured. Department of Public Works assisted with the electrical boxes in the area, securing them accordingly. The situation was concluded at 17:09, SFM will investigate the cause of this fire.; RE3, BP7, PR2; Glory Way/under Los Santos Freeway, La Mesa; Jennifer Schneider.

STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0604; 19:58; A big structure fire was reported by the LSPD on Forum Drive/Strawberry Avenue. Units discovered a large field with two trees involved on fire, close to a residential building. During the fire, one of the trees collapsed. The Department of Public Works was called to prevent issues with the electricity in the area. A knockdown was confirmed on 20:27. At 20:32, some areas on the south-western side reignited. Units confirmed another knockdown at 20:34 after they dealt with the south-western side. The overhaul team continued with the overhaul duties before the scene was handed over to the SFM. The overhaul team also checked a nearby building, making sure it wasn't affected by the fire. SFM will now investigate the cause of this emergency fire, nobody was injured. STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0704; 15:38; Two calls were received in the afternoon hours by the LSPD and the LSSD, reporting and confirming a structure fire in Little Seoul. Units discovered a large construction site involved in a fire. Engine 7 crew quickly started a defensive attack, waiting for additional resources. Engine 1 upon arrival approached the fire from the northern side, as grass and trees started to catch fire. The fire continued to reignite multiple times on the east side due to the weather conditions. At 16:03, a knockdown was confirmed on the southern side of the construction site. Three minutes later, a knockdown was also confirmed on the parking lot, northern side. Both Engine crews were assigned to the overhaul duties after the knockdown. BRUSH FIRE; INC#0804; Approx. 19:50; A fire was reported by the LSSD. Units discovered a fruit stand to be involved in a fire, with the fire spreading to the nearby bush after. Once Brush Patrol 7 arrived, they were directed to prevent further spread, Engine 7 was directed to go offense against the blaze. The fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries. Another 911 call was received shortly after, reporting a brush fire on LSFD's brush patrol training grounds. First dispatched was BP-1, directly off of the back of the prior fire, and other units soon followed. Scene to scene, they responded and proceeded to wet the surrounding dry undergrowth to prevent further spread, before adopting a more offensive approach and directly attacking the flames. The second fire was also extinguished shortly after. SFM will be investigating the cause of both brush fires, nobody was injured.; RA871, RA872, E7, BP7, BP1, PR1, PR3; Paleto Forest, Great Ocean Highway; Rose Burton, Natalie Deißler, Jennifer Schneider (text edits).

STRUCTURE FIRE; INC#0904; 17:30; The LSPD reported a structure fire close to a warehouse in La Mesa. The fire was spreading around the building, consuming nearby grass, a dumpster, and an old and abandoned car. Multiple units from several stations responded and quickly arrived at the scene. The crews swiftly dealt with the fire, confirming a knockdown at 17:50. A primary team was formed after, performing a quick search of the building. Nobody was found and nobody was injured during the fire. The operation was concluded around 18:00.
