Dear employees,
With immediate effect, employees must no longer use personal vehicles or non-department vehicles whilst on duty. Employees shall only use marked Fire Department vehicles, or where their duties require them to use an unmarked vehicle, unmarked vehicles equipped with emergency lights and sirens as approved by the Chief of Operations.

This change has been made for liability and insurance reasons, as employees who do not utilize department vehicles for emergency calls may find their insurance invalidated by their insurance company.
