LOS SANTOS FIRE DEPARTMENT JOB LISTING - CIVILIAN RECRUITMENT STAFF
The Training and Recruitment (T&R) Bureau of the Los Santos Fire Department is responsible for both the recruitment and training of new personnel alongside with monitoring, encouraging and supporting newer members of the department through their Probationary stage.

At the moment, we are only accepting applications from those outside the department for the position of Civilian Recruitment Officer within the Recruitment & Retention section of the Bureau. Training and further education may only be provided by those with official departmental training.

As a Civilian Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for receiving and processing applications alongside running and assessing interviews for prospective candidates. You will need to liase with other members of the Bureau and department to help ensure that the department continues to thrive. This role is almost entirely paperwork based and would suit those with a passion for organization and great people skills.

The Role
  • Aiding in attracting applicants and raising awareness of the department and their role in society by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters and using other forms of newsgroups and networking.
  • Building applicant sources by answering questions, holding presentations, assisting in events at locations across the state (i.e schools, universities, employment agencies).
  • Receiving, forwarding, assessing and marking applications for the roles of FF/EMT and EMT (both Career and Volunteer) during Recruitment Drives along with setting up, hosting, forwarding and reviewing interviews with designated applicants.
  • Liaising with the Los Santos Police Department for Background Checks on prospective candidates.
  • Engaging in discussion and debate on other applications along with general progression of the Bureau.
  • Passing on any candidate information to the respective handling team for trainings (i.e Office of EMS Education, Office of FIRE Education).
