Date: 06/DEC/2022Captain Derrick Schmidt wrote:On the evening of November 22nd, 2022, an armed robbery occurred at the Morningwood Bank which resulted in several suspects, hostages, and a Deputy sustaining grave injuries. Paramedics from the Los Santos Fire Department's Tactical Emergency Medical Support Unit were present on the frontlines of this incident and were able to provide immediate life-saving aid to the victims on scene. On behalf of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, Fire Captain James Reinhart, Fire Captain Emily Ohara, EMS Captain Bethany Hamlin, and Chief Rico Marshall have been honored with the Humanitarian Award for their extraordinary service.
